37.5®

In fabrics with 37.5® technology, patented natural active particles permanently embedded at the fiber level capture and release moisture vapor. Not only do these active particles provide 800% more surface area to the fiber, they also provide a unique driving force to remove moisture vapor from the skin.

By actively responding to body heat, the particles use this energy from the body

to accelerate the vapor movement and speed up the conversion of liquid to vapor, significantly increasing drying rates.

This means the hotter the user gets, the stronger the driving force removing moisture becomes—and the more comfortable the garment remains. 37.5® is a trademark of Cocona, Inc.

APS

A 3-layer construction developed to keep wind, water and dirt out while maintaining high breathability.

AVS

Breathes while it keeps your body dry – transporting sweat and moisture away from your skin.

COOLMAX®

Coolmax® fabrics are designed to move moisture away from the body and enhance fabric drying rate, thus keeping you feeling cool and dry. The Coolmax® fiber is a specially engineered polyester fibre with an increased surface area.

The fibre forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric where it spreads and dries quick. The performance of Coolmax® is inherent in the fibres structure itself, thereby providing consistent performance wash after wash. Coolmax® is a trademark of INVISTA Inc.

CORDURA®

An extremely tough and hardwearing material, used to reinforce exposed parts such as pockets, knees and sleeves. It is also water and dirt repellent, easy to care for and retains its shape.

It is a high technology fabric made with air-textured polyamide fibres able to meet the toughest standards of strength and durability. CORDURA® is a trademark of INVISTA Inc.

D3O®

D3O® smart materials specialise in impact protection and shock absorption. Its unique patented polymer composites contains a chemically engineered dilatant as an energy absorber. The material’s molecules flow freely in standard conditions, but on impact, they lock together to absorb and disperse energy, before instantly returning to their flexible state.

This unique characteristic provides enhanced impact protection, while providing versatile and flexible materials that can be manufactured for a host of impact protective applications. Note: D3O® does not ”go hard”.

Snickers Workwear uses different D3O® material grades specially tuned for a wide range of temperatures that offer enhanced cushioning, longterm comfort and superior impact protection on key contact areas.

DRI RELEASE®

drirelease® is keeping you cool, dry and fresh. drirelease® wicks moisture by moving liquid away from skin and pushing it to the outside of the fabric where it can evaporate quicker.

HIPORA®

Hipora® is a waterproof and breathable membrane used for gloves. It keeps your hands dry and comfortable. Hipora® is a trademark of Kolon Industries.

PORON® XRD®

Poron® XRD® Exteme Impact Protection. Flexible and lightweight shock absorbing foam material. The impact force dissipates and is distributed over a larger area, resulting in lower stress to the wearer. Poron® XRD® is a trademark of Rogers Corporation.

THINSULATE™

Thinsulate™ insulation has very high insulation properties compare to its weight. The fine fibers that make up Thinsulate™ insulation, work by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space‚ the better it insulates you from the cold outside air.

Thinsulate™ is breathable, moist-resistant and machine washable. Thinsulate ™ is a trademark of 3M™.

WINDSTOPPER®

WINDSTOPPER® materials combines total windproofness with maximum breathability to keep you warm and comfortable. The windproofness protects your body’s warmth from the chilling effects of wind and weather.

Maximum breathability prevents overheating and perspiration build-up by allowing moisture vapour to escape easily. A durable water repellent finish provides additional weather protection. WINDSTOPPER® is a trademark of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.
